Training/Certification NIS2 Legal Directive
What is NIS 2?
The NIS 2 Directive (EU 2022/2555) is a European framework aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure and essential services (energy, transport, healthcare, banking, etc.). Coming into force in January 2023, it broadens the scope of the first NIS1 Directive, imposes stricter security measures, and simplifies incident reporting obligations. It also introduces more severe penalties for non-compliant organisations and their directors. Its aim is to harmonise cyber resilience across Europe and protect strategic Belgian and European assets against growing cyber threats. Compliance is mandatory for the organisations concerned and essential for your cybersecurity in terms of best practice.
